FitFeet is a single or multiple use product for emergent situations designed under the brief of ‘product design for providing aid for immigration and the problems around it.’

Global migration and the number of migrating people are increasing everyday. The migration process can be and usually is a dangerous journey with many obstacles which people lack many essential and basic needs such as food, water, clothing, shelter, etc. FitFeet focuses around the clothing issue, specifically the shoes which can be essential especially if the refugees are walking for long distances in rough environments. Even after the refugees arrive at their destination, they are usually placed in refugee camps which lack the material supply (can differ from country to country however it is considered as a common problem) needed for people to live as comfortably and safely as they can.

FitFeet aims to provide a solution to the lack of shoe supply but only as an emergency aid. It provides temporary foot protection from the rough surfaces for emergent situations. It is produced in two different measurements, one for adults and one for the children. It is produced from 2 simple materials which are cheap and easy to supply. It combines acrylic plastic and elastic fabric and is designed to be adjustable for different feet sizes so it can fit different feet sizes. This feature allows this product to be available to everyone who is in need.

Since the product comes in two dimensional form and assembled easily at the time of use, it is quite easy to transport in mass quantities and the care team who distributes it would help people to assemble the product. It can also be assembled by the person who needs it since it has a basic assemblage.

FitFeet aims to ensure a basic protection at the times of migration when there is lack of material supply with a simple but pretty useful product.
